“Atlântico” at Café Moh in Leipzig (January to March 2025)
The oil paintings depict Southern European cityscapes with the Atlantic Ocean seemingly close by. This series was not created in a planned way. I first choose motifs that I like, that speak to me. Only later do I recognize the parallels between them. It reflects a longing for the South — the warm light that casts strong shadows on walls and ground. I paint to capture the feeling of a warm walk and to be able to evoke it again and again.

“Abendakademie” at the Leipzig Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig (HGB) in Leipzig, Germany (June 2024)
As part of the Evening Academy course “Traveling in the City” led by Marthe Lallemand at the Academy of Fine Arts in Leipzig, our group explored the Gohlis district. The course investigates the interactions between nature and urban life using a wide range of materials. During this process, I created photographs and paintings using acrylic and potato prints on wood and paper. I chose the motif of a scaffolded building, which caught my attention.
